My first granddaughter.
What are you most proud of?
I had the opportunity to work together with my daughter-in-law to make it for my granddaughter, and her new neice.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be sure to match both sides closely and pin together before cutting. When cutting the fringe it works best to cut both sides at the same time, so when tying them together they line up and have equal number of fringes. I also measured the width and length of the fringe as I cut them so there was uniformity. Try keeping the same amount of taughtness when tying the fringe or it can pucker, and not lay flat.
