Instructions

The original pattern for this cowl comes from celery stalks a very imaginative knitter and designer. Knit in the round this 3 x 3 alternating rib makes for a simple knit with a complex color play.

handspun yarn plant dyed with various dyes from beets, onion skins, curled dock, marigold and brazilwood

What was your inspiration?

My sheep and colors from nature come together in this project for a warm neck and shoulder wrap.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This pattern is open to individual shaping. Knit from the bottom up it can be decreased as desired.
