Orange Chiffon cake with Lemon curd and white chocolate mousse fillings. Covered in fondant with gumpaste daisies and ivy leaves.
What was your inspiration?
The bride was using daisies as her theme and the arch that was over the cake table was covered in ivy and lights.
What are you most proud of?
This was my first fondant cake and the 100 daisies and 65 ivy leaves were all made by hand.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use egg carton cups to shape the daisies and don't use texture on the fondant as I did - it doesn't need it!
