What was your inspiration?

Another WIP. I have to get moving on finishing this one as it's for a young lady I work with who will be off to college soon. She, like the quilt is bright and cheery. I made it from her favorite colors, yellow, blue and green. Just have to get it quilted and the boarder on it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This goes together really fast, I cut everything one Saturday and began sewing in the evening. By Sunday evening most of the blocks were done, and I actually have more blocks that will be needed for the front so they will be pieced into the back. I think I'm one block short of this being able to be a queen size if I used all the blocks on the front. Pattern called for 1 1/2 jelly rolls, I used 1 and added yardage from other complementary fabrics.
