What are you most proud of? I couldn't find an orchid pattern that I liked, so I made up my own. I tried to figure out how to tat the centre, but none of the things I tried was satisfactory, so I compromised with a bead. However, I'm pleased with the outside petals which do manage to somewhat mimic the shape of the flower.

It is indeed an orchid! Very cute design.

Thanks :D one of the things I'm really enjoying with tatting is that, like crochet, it's possible to improvise! It's fun making another person's pattern and it's also fun planning something and seeing it come together, but I also like the ability to sit down with a shuttle full of thread and a few ideas and create something out of my imagination :D
