Very nice, how did you make the number "4" topper? What was your technique?

I roll out logs of gumpaste and just shape the numbers. Depending on the number I place a lollypop stick to insert into cake. Some numbers such as #2 or 5 I let dry hard and then add wet gumpaste on back with a wire (i use coffee stirirs to insert into cake). I roll the ends thinner and curl them. Hope my instructions make sense.
