What advice would you give someone starting this project? make something small - like a pillow or cushion so that you can have the satisfaction of finishing a project and don't be afraid to break rules!

I fell in love with this pillow the first time I saw it. It made me think of my sister who had done her room in Paris decor and dreamed of going there. she finally did last month and I want to do something like this for her.
