What was your inspiration?

I wanted something Different. Im also dying to make it up in a Christmas range...

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Dont be afraid of curves.. My pattern will teach you how to sew them nice and easy. xx

I love the shape. It reminds me of the homeade satin ornaments my Mom & I use to make. I know you are suppose to quilt in all cotton, but I bet this would be gorgeous is brocades. Thanks for sharing!

About the very first quilt I ever made was curves and being stupid probably helped because I didn't hve anyone to talk to at the time and I was on my own except for the reading material. It was a Christmas gift for my mother and while it was very humbling, my mother loved it very much.

Hahha.. oh i can imagine.. they look tricky but if you pin correctly (i had someone teach me) like i show you in the pattern theyre fun and you can make the most amazing designs.. really changes quilting! Thanks for your comment! xx
