Instructions
Prepare cupcakes as directed on the box and cool.
Pipe in cream cheese frosting. I would normally cut an X from the tops of the cupcakes and inset Tip No 230 and pipe in cream chees frosting. Cover tops of cupcakes with regular small amount of frosting just enough to hold pedal.
Here comes the magic: Using a sissor (I used a small sissors) cut small mini mashmallows (MM) diagonally. I hold the MM so the round sides are facing me and the flat sides are to the left and right. Cut in an angle upwards. You know you cut it right when there's a flat side to afix to your cupcakes and a pointy side for the pedal. Dip your cut MM in a pan of colored sugar shake round and repeat for at least 15 MM. Start from the bottom and press the rounded part of MM to the cupcake going around and around, try to keep the same size pedals together. I used the larger pieces first for the bottom row, med size for second row and smaller ones for the top 3rd tier. I sprinkled the top center with additional colored sugar for a finished look. Beautiful. I only wished the Birthday Girl selected another color than yellow... a hot pink would have looked awesome!
