Instructions
This a a very simple pattern. I just made blocks form the fabric with the pictures of Cup Cakes and Tea Pots, boardered it with the yellow and yellow cherry matching fabric. I used white on white for apposing squares. It is not quilted or bound yet. I will back it with the yellow cherry fabric. and bind with the yellow. I got this fabric from our local drug store. Now you all know what a small town I live in. Its a collection called Tea & Sweets (www.southseaimports.com)
What was your inspiration?
Actually it was a top that I made for the drugstore they had the fabric but nothing to what could be done with it. Sooo. I made up this top. I also thought my great niece might like it for her " Big Girl Bed "
What are you most proud of?
I am happy every time I make a quilt. I love to mix and match fabric and see what kind of design I can come up with.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Do your own thing. This quilt is easy because there is no pattern. You can use the printed cup cake and tea pot fabric and just boarder it. You can do a nine patch. You creat the design anyway you want. Just let your sprit flow.
