My son was raised in New Mexico and I wanted to make a quilt for him that would bring back memories of his home.

The collection of materials.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Jump in! Take a class, draw a design, Cut some squares. The quilt police are gone. Do it your way. There really is not right way.
