What was your inspiration?
We had a Midsummer woodland wedding (in Sherwood Forest) and (literally) everything was home made. There was a kind of a Midsummer Night's Dream/Robin Hood theme happening. I had fairy bridesmaids and my husband had a Green Man type suit. My Mum and I made everything ourselves, including all dresses, fairy wings, tiaras, jewellery, cakes, decorations etc...
I knew I wanted to use Rose Quartz somewhere, as it is associated with love and from there the rest of the headdress just happened! On the day it was entwined with fresh ivy and flowers too.
What are you most proud of?
That it still looks so pretty more than 6 years later!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go for it! You really can use any materials you want to.
