Cotton, upholstry fabric, scraps that my mom sent me.
What was your inspiration?
I love the convenience of crossbody bags, so I wanted to make a few different ones to switch out. I then got the idea to make them for my friends. My mother had sent me a large box of fabric and this was another way of using it up.
What are you most proud of?
That I made the pattern myself using a yard stick and newspaper.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Measuring is very important. Don't be afraid to try different fabrics together and get creative.
