What was your inspiration?

As always, my boys...and having a hat to match their every outfit!

What are you most proud of?

Passing along the creative skill & craft of crocheting that my great-grandmother taught me when I was 11 years old. I loved her and miss her dearly, but feel close to her every day as I crochet.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Get out all those scrap balls of yarn and have fun with color changes, ear flaps, pompoms, braided ties - lots of options for customizing this project and making it your own!
