What materials did you use? fingering weight yarn ( I don't know the name of the yarn because my one year old nephew removed the wrapper for me - I know it came from Hobby Lobby) size F crochet hook pattern from Penelope Rae website which I adjusted a little to my liking.

What are you most proud of? Three "gloves/mittens" later I have a pair that match and once I finish the fourth I'll have two sets of matches. I didn't think that through when I started with the varigated yarn.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow the pattern it is well written and easy to understand. I would suggest watching a tutorial on the crocodile stitch if you haven't done one just to familiarize yourself with it. The pattern seemed to work up very fast and easily.

Okay I just happened to be in Hobby Lobby and checked on the yarn. I used Patrons Lace in Woodrose to make these fingerless mittens.

I was pretty sure that's what you used, since this photo just jumped out at me! I was looking for projects done in this crocodile stitch in different shades of yarn. What a beautiful choice you made!
