Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic, Retro / Vintage

White Crochet Thread

What was your inspiration?

I fell in love with the Crocodile Stitch when I came across BonitaPatterns on Etsy. I thought that the stitch itself would make a pretty necklace or choker so I decided to try and make one myself.

What are you most proud of?

That I was able to make this without a pattern!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time.

Where did you learn to do the stitch? Is there a website where I could learn how to do it?

I learned it from an Etsy shop - Bonita Patterns. I believe she is on Craftsy too. The easiest way to learn this stitch is to watch a YouTube video. Just search crocodile stitch and there are quite a few instructional videos on there to help you out.

I have wanted to learn how to add beads to some of my jewelry pieces. Do you know of any good books or tutorials I can take a look at?
