Instructions

Socks are my ideal choice for on-the-go knitting. Also ideal, is a stitch pattern that is easily memorized, while being interesting enough to hold my tiny attention-span! Add to that, a beautiful, glossy hand-dyed yarn, and you have Crocodile Rock!

These socks are knit from the cuff-down.

1 skein fingering weight handpainted merino/tencel yarn (400 yards)

This gorgeous yarn by Alexandra's Crafts (www.alexandrascrafts.com) was all the inspiration I needed!

What are you most proud of?

How the textured stitch pattern showed off the shine of the yarn.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a very easy pattern for a beginning sock knitter. It calls for double-pointed needles, but the pattern could easily be adapted for magic-loop method.
