What are you most proud of? This is the first pattern i have actually written myself...I always forget to write things down as I am working...LOL

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I think it would look cute with some leaves and vines, but I am not sure how to do it....if you come up with something please share!

Basic Pumpkin Pattern Materials: *H Hook *Loops & Threads Brand Yarn Worsted weight in Pumpkin and Forest *Scissors *Poly-Fill or grocery bags (of other filler material of your choice) *Notes: Special Stitches used: DCdec=Double Crochet Decrease -Instructions for DCdec: YO and insert hook into stitch. YO and pull up lopp. YO and insert into next stitch. YO and pull up loop. YO and pull through 2 loops. YO and pull through 3 loops. YO and pull through remaining 2 loops. Start with Pumpkin. Make a Magic Circle, or Ch 8 and sl st into first chain made. Ch 2. R1: 16 DC in center. Sl St to end round Ch 2. R2: 2 DC in each stitch. Sl st to end round Ch 2. 32 DC R3: 2 DC in each stitch Continue to end of round. Sl St to end round Ch 2. 64 DC R4: Dc in each st around, Sl St to end round Ch 2 64 DC R5: *2 DC in next stitch, 1 DC in next stitch* Continue to end of round. Sl St to end round Ch 2. 96 DC R6: Dc in each st around, Sl St to end round Ch 2 96 DC R7: *2 DC in next stitch, 1 Dc in next 2 stitches* Continue to end of round. Sl st to end of round Ch2 129 DC R8-12:DC in each stitch around. Sl St to end round Ch 2. R13: DCdec in next 2 stitches. DC to end of round. Sl St to end round. Ch 2. R14: DC in first two stitches DC dec in next two stitches, DC to end of round. Sl St to end Roud CH2 R15: Dc in first 3 stitches, DC dec in next two stitches, DC to last 4 stitches DC dec in next 2 st, DC in last 2 stitches. Sl St to end of round.Ch 2 R16: Dc in first 4, DC dec in next two stitches, DC to last 6 stitches DC dec in next 2 st, DC in last 4 stitches. Sl St to end of round.Ch 2 R17: Dc in first 5 stitches, DC dec in next two stitches, DC to last 8 stitches DC dec in next 2 st, DC in last 6 stitches. Sl St to end of round.Ch 2 R18: Dc in the first 10 st, Dc Dec in the next two, around to end of round. Sl st to end round Ch 2 R19: DC in the first 5 st, DC dec in the next two around to end of round. Sl st to end of round Ch2 R20: DC in the first 3 st, DC dec in the next two around to end of round. Sl st to end of round Ch2 R21: DC in first stitch, DC dec in next 2 st, around to end of round. S st to end round Ch2 R22-24: Dcdec to last stitch. DC in last stitch. Sl St to end round . Fill with Poly-Fill or other filler material. R25: Change color to Spring Green. Ch 2. DCdec around. .Ch 2. R23-26: DC around. R27: Sc around until stem closes. Tie off and hide ends. I used grocery bags to fill my pumpkin and I am able to pull a grocery bag out of the stem of the pumpkin. If you do not want this small hole at the top, simply sl st across the stitches after DCing around in R17.
