I have several doilies for sale. Some are 100% cotton thread, while others are acrylic or nylon. Colors vary, while all come from a smoke free-pet free home.
What was your inspiration?
My inspiration was a doily my late Aunt Pearl gave me many years ago. I was amazed at the tiny stitches and wanted to try and replicate what she had done.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the way it turned out...that the stitches look delicate and lacey.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience! When you are working with a tiny hook and thread, it takes patience more than anything else.
