What was your inspiration?
Love of colors serve as inspiration for me.and a touch nonstalgia generated an urge to the 1950s kitchen.
What are you most proud of?
Finding unique kitchen towels and my eye for matching color. A simple pattern with a splash of color can add a personal touch to your kitchen.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Serge kitchen towels first and then just experiment with a pattern. The top piece can be made separately as a take along project. It's created like a doily and folded in half. You can either gather or pleat the towel edge to fit.
