Instructions
Though a beginner can probably figure the pattern out, it does use a special stitch (poof stitch) that may be a little tricky at first. This special stitch is explained in full detail in the pattern. I have included two additional pictures of this hat done in other colors.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I had seen many slouch berets on the internet, but none that I felt would actually keep your head warm and look fashionable. I just sat down one day and designed this and have made many since.
What are you most proud of?
That I designed a hat that looks great from all angles! I've made a few of these myself and follow the pattern each time to make sure there's nothing that needs to be corrected.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Even though you may not come out with the exact amount of stitches that you should (according to the pattern), it's ok if you just stay with the pattern (six sides that gradually get bigger).
