What was your inspiration?
Making a jute basket for my daughter gave me the idea to crochet OVER the rope for a new look in crochet.
What are you most proud of?
How they turned out. From a distance they look almost look like Indian pottery! Look a little closer, and they look like woven baskets with beads.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have some knowledge of crocheting in the round, being very familiar with how increasing is so important in this method.
