Materials
I used some basic, black crochet thread. I also used black pearl beads and feathers to accent the piece. For the actual headband, I used a metal headband and wrapped it with the cotton crochet thread.
What was your inspiration?
Heirlooms....looking at this piece I loved the intricacy and delicacy of the piece. It's so pretty I hope it will get passed on through the generations.
What are you most proud of?
The whole thing! It was pretty detail oriented, and I think I paid attention to every detial to make this piece special.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be prepared for lots of finishing! But it's worth it.
