I adapted the pattern a bit to allow for a bigger granny square – I just added a few rounds, very simple.

What was your inspiration?

I saw a picture of a bag like that on the internet and knew I just needed to have one: a bag to contain all my current crochet projects, hooks, needles, scissors, everything! Sadly, there was no pattern available, so i just googled a free pattern for a spiral granny square and went to town with it.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud that I managed to pretty much re-create the bag I saw without having a pattern for it available. I puzzled it all out by myself, and I think the outcome is amazing.

Since I do not know how to use a sowing machine, I had my amazing husband make the lining of the bag for me. He did an awesome job with it.
