I used Red Heart acrylic yarn in black, two bamboo purse handles I purchased at Michael's and some material I salvaged from an old bedspread.
What was your inspiration?
I really loved the material I used to line the bag. It was an old bedspread that I salvaged some material from. I love the asian them and wanted to make something with an asian feel.
What are you most proud of?
This pattern was a challenge! It was the first purse I'd ever made as well as the first thing I'd ever sewn a liner into.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The pattern was just one bobble stitch after another and can be a real pain in the wrist......literally.
