What was your inspiration?
I love white and blue together so when I saw how crisp and white these little shoes crocheted up I thought of the scrap blue polka dot fabric I had recycled from an old blouse of mine and voila! Yo-Yo flower!
What are you most proud of?
They look so fresh and I think the heart shape button takes them over the top cute. I'm also always proud of finding ways to recycle something and use up scraps.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be careful. Once you start making yo-yos you won't be able to stop. They can be addictive.
