This would fit up to 3 months...depending on the size hook you use, it can be larger. I think I used an H hook.

I start with a magic ring and do 12 dc in the ring. Join to the 1st st and pull tight. Row 2 - 2 dc in each st. Row 3 - dc in 2 sts, 2 dc in next,,,around, join. Row 4 - dc in 3 sts, 2 dc in next....around, join. Row 5 - 9 - dc in each st around, join. Row 10 - ch 3, 4 dc in joining st. {{ skip 2 sts, sc in next. skip 1, 5 dc in next, }} Repeat {{ }} join and finish off. (I changed colors every other row...you can do it all one color or change as you like.) Make a little flower and attach. I just played around till the flower turned out ok. I really don't use a pattern on this, hope what I tried to put down helps. When you get some made, I would love to see photos! :)
