What was your inspiration?
This was the first pattern I wrote. I was DETERMINED that I could make a shoe without a double sole, that didn't look like a boat! I was unhappy with every bootie pattern I'd tried, so over the process of several months, this shoe evolved. I'm sure I made hundreds of booties in that month, each a little bit different.
What are you most proud of?
This pattern. Period. It's my first one. It's my favorite to make.
