I created my own liner by cutting the fabric to match the market bag. i then pressed it and sewed it together with the sewing machine, then i attached it by hand around the handles.Difficulty:

Materials
100 % cotton yarn, 100% cotton for the lining, sewing machine and cotton thread, largle hand sewing needle and transparent nylon thread (not for the machine)

Lion Brand Yarn web site! Just type in Market Bag in their search engine. They have so many crochet patterns and are very easy to follow.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of the fact that i sewed my own lining to fit exactly inside the crocheted bag. I'm a newbie with the sewing machine and hand sewing! I really like the bag and will make more.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to learn something new. If you don't know how to crochet, watch some tutorials on you tube and read the patterns... practice, practice and you'll get it. As far as the bag, cut out the liner leaving about 1/4 allowance for sewing. attach and wallah.
