What was your inspiration?
It's not secret that I love yarn AND fabric! I am always looking for ways to out the two together! I have made so many of these little dresses, I stopped counting! From newborn to toddler!
It is truly beautiful when made into a baptism or first communion dress in all white!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Sizes given in the pattern for the bodice portion are for 6 months, 12 months and 18 months. The model in the photo is wearing size 6 months.
The pattern does not provide the name of any fabric. It DOES provide the name and brand of yarn I used. If you are adding the beaded or a pom pom fringe, just slip it in between the crocheted bodice and fabric before sewing! Easy peasy!
