What was your inspiration?
Two of my favorite friends were having a baby, and I really wanted to make something special for them that would be beautiful but that they could also use. Enter the crisscross baby blanket.
What are you most proud of?
It was a complete surprise to my friends, and not only did they love it, but they also used it. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a baby under or wrapped in a blanket I made.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a great project for a beginner. It looks intricate, but it's really just double crochet and half double crochet with a little X thrown in. Give it a try!
