What materials did you use? I recycled a giant velvet house coat. Used the principles taught in the "creative quilt backs" coarse of cut and place a block strip down the middle of the back. I used some cotton flour sacks that I had dyed as th joining material between the blocks. I used batik print cotton, aplica fans on the sides. These match the same material used in the hexicon blocks and the wonky Log cabin block. I used My Blocks of the Month: #10 May Block of the Month "wonky Log cabin" #8 April Block of the Month, Left over Hexicon variation Block #1 #8 April Block of the Month, Left over Hexicon variation Block #2

What are you most proud of? Using blocks that I made to use up the hexicons left over from the coarse ones.

How to do the crazy log cabin is posted with Blocks of the Month course on Craftsy: It is a free course. All you have to do is start. There are videos with Amy showing for each month how to do two blocks per month.#10 May Block of the Month "wonky Log cabin. The one I used in the quilt above is the block I did for the coarse. Go crazy and make one for your self, it is fun.
