What was your inspiration?
I love splashes of color in every nook of my garden. Green is pretty, but I want color in early spring and here in Colorado, you're lucky to have anything but brown.
What are you most proud of?
The vivid colors. I used to be afraid that bright colors would look gaudy, but if done right can add a touch of whimsey and elegance at the same time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Anything that you buy at the craft store or at a yard sale, don't be afraid to repaint it to suit your taste for color.
