Triangles were always hard for me to get just right. So when i saw that this quilt had the help of special tools to make it turn out, i knew i had to try. and to my amazement, it did!
This is one of my all time favorites! And it's on my To-Do list. :o)
This is so awesome I would love to try it also . It's on my to do List !!!!!!! Thanks for posting it . Happy Grandma
I really love the bright triangles surrounded by the soft green. It makes it calmer and makes me want to try the pattern. Thanks for posting your pic!
This is quite beautiful! Your colour combining is delightful. Thanks for sharing this!
Where can I find this pattern? And what would you say is the level of difficulty? Thanks, Sherry
i would say this pattern is for a more experienced quilter. med difficulty. triangles are always tricky if you don't do it just like the pattern says. This particular quilt is done with cutting the fabric into strips, then cutting out the pieces using the quilters tools purchased separately. however there are also instructions if you do not have the tools.. the pattern came from, Granny Quilts Vintage Quilts of the 30's made new for today. By Darlene Zimmerman. I found the book for about 10.00 on ebay awhile back. This quilt is the first one listed and is called Whimsy.
