First attempt at Crazy Quilting
What was your source for this quilting project?
What materials did you use?
Scraps of printed cotton, curtain bump lining, threads, beads, bits and bobs.
More surfing on the internet brought up Crazy Quilting - loved it from the moment I saw it. Wanted to try to out but couldn't find out very much about it so I borrowed several books from the library and found a pattern and ideas for a spectacle case. As it was approaching my stepmother's birthday I thought I would give it ago. This spectacle case is my first attempt and I am very pleased with the result. I have since made two others and have two more in the pipeline. They are simple to do and very satisfying as you can let your needle run wild. Also, after taking the Crazy Quilting classes with Allie Aller, I have the ideal base pattern to include as made different little bits of material as possible. This is a great way to use up those little bits and pieces and of course use more filligree from Tee Pee.
That's a great idea I would love to have a go
