What materials did you use? Standard quilting materials. Paris Flea Market fabric collection offered for course. 16" pillow form.

What are you most proud of? I really enjoyed searching for ways to embellish the traditional embroidery stitches. I also added more yellow to this piece and think it gives it more balance than the other pillow using the same fabric collection. Also, in one of the blocks I had a pretty white satin-like material. It is actually in the block I posted with a tip. Anyway, I must have ironed it too hot because I noticed that it had a ragged tear right in the middle and this occurred after I had already finished a lot of embroidery! So I took a piece of pretty pink material similar in texture to the white, and appliqued it over the torn area. I then added some lace and it looked fine. The little pieces of lace were cut from old doilies that belonged to my Grandmother - so happy to use them in this way!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it! It's really much easier than it looks. There are plenty of tutorials on making the envelope - here is just one:
