What was your inspiration?
Red and gold scraps that were overtaking my sewing room provided the inspiration to "do something" in crazy patch. I thought it would be fun the try combining crazy patch in a design that looked like something rather than the overall crazy patch I usually do, and this was my first attempt. One of these days I'd like to try a whole landscape in crazy patch.
What are you most proud of?
I like the addition of the little black UltraSuede squirrel on the stump. I think it makes a great little focal point.
The quilt top was donated to a church group that completed the quilt for shipment to world relief. (Aren't I the lucky one to be able to just do the "fun part" while others do what I consider to be the "hard work" of finishing the quilt?)
