What was your inspiration?
The fabric itself, with many whimsical cat designs, was the inspiration. I purchased the fabric specifically to use individual designs as the focal point in crazy patch blocks.
What are you most proud of?
I used fabric scraps I had on hand along with the cat fabric and think the combination came out rather well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are new to this type of project, there is a free online mini-course on making zippered pouches you might find helpful. Also, if crazy patching is new to you, do a web search on "how to crazy patch." You'll find plenty of helpful advice so you won't need an actual pattern.
