What was your inspiration?
A wonderful co-worker of mine is expecting her first baby in February. This is a long awaited for IVF miracle so I wanted to make something that was very pretty and a little special yet fully machine washable so that it would not be left sitting in a drawer.
What are you most proud of?
Knitted a picot edge for the first time. Incorporating a pattern into the raglan shaping and repeating it at the front edge.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The first few rounds are the trickiest. If you can have patience over the first 6 rows, once they are done the rest is a breeze.
