What materials did you use? I'm using Katia Terra Lana Ecologica in a natural off white.

What are you most proud of? I'm pretty proud of my ability to take accurate body measurements of my own body without any assistance.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the videos and read the questions other people have asked. Myra also provides a set of FAQ's which may answer some of your questions. I found this after asking questions Myra has undoubtedly answered countless times. (Sorry.) Also review your course materials and make sure you have what you need because one you begin, you will be addicted. This sweater is knitting up quickly and the progress is fun to watch.

Nice job. Glad you can knit for yourself. I liked it. (Good luck for the future...)

Thank you. I peeked at your sweater from this class and like it. I teach art and several of my male students have learned to crochet and knit. It is nice to see that the female-only stigma is lifting from needle work.

looks like an anthropology bolaro I've been watching on ravelry. Beautiful!

Thank you. I'm really happy with it so far. I'm am currently waiting for the piece to dry so I can try it on again before starting the sleeves.

I purchased Cascade Ultra Pima Cotton yarn because I live in Florida. It is not worsted yarn (as used in the class). Do you think this will work or should I just use worsted weight? I do not want to begin something that may not work out. Thanks for your help.

Is your yarn dk weight? That's what I'm using and it is fine. Keep in mind that you must do a gauge swatch in order to make it all come out right. Also, cotton yarn tends to stretch with wear so your sweater might "grow." Good luck!
