Crazy daisy charm pack, fabric, batting and backing Cecilia from Ikea.

What was your inspiration?

This is a Mothers Day gift for my Sister Sonia she is a very happy person and nothing takes her out of control so for me she is like a Daisy, happy, cheerful and very optimist. This is her and that was my inspiration.

What are you most proud of?

The color combination

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try and do something.

Thanks for the info. I don't have one very close by but I am familiar with the store. I might try on like just for the chance to see what they have, if possible, as it appears the quality is great. 60" wide? Wow, that's a good thing. I don't often look in decor or curtain fabrice locally as it is sometimes to thick to work with, but I shall remember to do that in the future. You quilt was so well done. Lots of love went into it, that's for sure.

On ikea online you will be able to see the variety of fabric they have but unless you have someone that can go and touch the fabric don't order online because they all say that there are cotton fabric some of then

This fabric are in the curtain department but you can use them for anything but it's better if you could feel because although they say in the description that they are cotton it's like you say there are to thick to work with them. What I do is that my sister lives close to an Ikea so she goes and feel the fabric and she tells me which ones will work for what I want, so my recommendation is not to order online unless you know how they feel. I have bought a few of them already and if you are interested I could get the name of them for you because those for sure will be appropriate for what you want, just let me know ok. Take care.

Please see the May square for "Vespa" in the Amy Gibson Block of the month class projects and tell me if your backing is the same fabric. I think it's so cute. You did a wonderful job on the front. such patience! Good for you. Happy quilting

Yes this is the same fabric, I got this from Ikea the name if I remember well is Cecilia its a beautiful fabric, if any of you have a Ikea around I suggest you go the curtain department were they sell fabric they got pretty nice fabric tha t you can use for anything 3 of my proyect have an Ikea backin. Check it out I don't have an Ikea in PR but every time I have a vacation to the US I have to go to see there fabric selection there 60" wide and very good quality.
