What materials did you use? Just quilting cottons selected specifically for this project. I'm just starting out so I don't have a "stash". Crazy quilting appealed to me, though tradition "piecing" with all the precision a cuts etc at this time is just too annoying! I had previosly done a cheaters crazy quilt for a baby blanket. Fun and nice looking but didn't really care for the blocks being all the same patterns.

What are you most proud of? That I think in the end it all works together (though still need to finish the back and binding). Throughout the project, my husband liked it after piecing, then at embroidery he would say that's getting pretty busy, and when I started adding buttons n stuff, he said you are just covering stuff up now! And for me, I has finished but felt something was lacking and not balanced. Looked at it for a week laying different things out till I finally decided on the two white flowers in the two left blocks. Then I knew it was done!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just play! Keep going. You will know when that last embellishment is just right!

Wonderfully balanced, inventive and fun. You have done a great job jumping in! Thanks so much for posting your project pictures. ;-)
