Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. I used fresh organic fruit, cranberries, pears, Granny Smith apples, and dried cranberries in place of the raisins. I did not include the hazelnuts that were recommended in the recipe, but chose to leave it nut-free. The result was delicious.

What are you most proud of? The end result was delicious and beautiful to look at as well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Always buy the highest quality ingredients you can afford for the best end product.

I am so delighted you made the chutney and felt free to create your own variation. I sometimes make mine nut-free, too, if I know I have a guest who has a nut allergy. LOVE that you included a photo of your chutney--it looks fabulous--merry holidays!

Your chutney looks amazing. I also love that you used organic ingredients - my kind of Lady! I see you bottled them in canning jars - did you also can them in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes? If so did it keep well? Thanks so much. Martine
