What materials did you use? Silks- dupioni, habotai, organza, crepe de chine Sunflower lace, boning, horsehair for hem, tulle

What are you most proud of? I went very couture with this dress--lining, underlining, boned bodice, waist stay, horsehair hem, hand-stitched appliques around the hem, hand-picked zipper, and hand-piecing and stitching all of that lace on the bodice! I felt like this project really stretched me a lot, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Allow plenty of time--the muslin stage alone took me 3 months!

Wow! What an amazing accomplishment! It's beautifully constructed, fits perfectly and obviously made with love. My favorite part is the lacy back and delicate buttons.
