What materials did you use? This is my first quilt which I call ?Craftsy on Steroids? because it is a culmination of multiple Craftsly classes all in one! Even the fabrics were purchased on Craftsy: The gray solids are from a Kona jelly roll called Silent Film and the prints are Andover Pearl Bracelets. The blocks are a variation of Fantasy Four Patch from Joe Cunningham?s PATTERN FREE QUILTMAKING class. The block formatting and borders were inspired by Camille Roskelley?s Layer Cake 2 in PLAYFUL PIECING TECHNIQUES. For the backing, I used Elizabeth Hartman?s CREATIVE QUILT BACKS suggestion of inserting a block mimicking the pattern on the quilt top. I machine quilted for the very first time using concentric gentle curves from Jacquie Gering?s CREATIVE QUILTING WITH YOUR WALKING FOOT class. Finally, I finished the quilt with a mitered corner binding technique from Mimi Dietrich?s FINISHING SCHOOL. It?s my first quilt, so don?t look too closely!

Your first quilt! Fabulous! I love the binding in different shades! You should get a Craftsy award for using info from so many classes! Congratulations!

Your quilt looks fabulous. I always have a problem deciding which class to post the project, because I, too, have learned so many techniques from many Craftsy projects. Craftsy on Steroids is a wonderful title for this quilt! Congratulations!
