Amy is a GREAT teacher. Watch the videos, then print out the paper instructions for your sewing room action.These are first time attempts for me, so they are NOT perfect. I will do them again as I continue to learn.

Materials
Cotton Fat quarters. I had bought this set of 'Civil War' prints a couple of years ago, and when I got them home, I didn't like them too much! So they sat. Since this lesson is all about experiments, I thought I could use them up this year!

Just trying new things.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be careful about using prints with lines/plaids on them when your pieces will be touching....they don't always match up, and then it doesn't look the best. (see the red triangle pieces above? I'm not liking that.)
