What materials did you use? Cotton Fat quarters. I had bought this set of 'Civil War' prints a couple of years ago, and when I got them home, I didn't like them too much! So they sat. Since this lesson is all about experiments, I thought I could use them up this year!

What are you most proud of? Just trying new things.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be careful about using prints with lines/plaids on them when your pieces will be touching....they don't always match up, and then it doesn't look the best. (see the red triangle pieces above? I'm not liking that.) I'm LEARNING!

Beautiful job! Colors are pretty for Fall, also. I too, like the civil war fabrics....I want to take the class on civil war quilting eventually. Very pretty!
