March BOM
All of my BOM'S for this quilt

Instructions

I made the Craftsy BOM from Amy's tutorial. I reccomend watching the video while making the block. And have fun.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Cute, Funky, Retro / Vintage, Whimsical

Materials

Cotton materials, scraps of materials I had left over, I just trimmed them up and sewed them on.

What was your inspiration?

Amy is always the inspiration

What are you most proud of?

Loving the colors

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use a thin material, not 100%cotton for the background block on March's block, this will make it not so bulky.

I added the other blocks on this one as well. I have two quilts going on, but I have a lot to do on the other one.

Thanks Tammie, I hadn't realized we could see all the blocks in one place. So, exciting to be a part of such a huge community of people. It's amazing how different one block can look based on fabric choices. Ladybev when we all complete our blocks and make our quilts at the end of the year I think they should have a spot for the finished quilts that is separate, It would be fun to scroll through those.

I believe those are our Class Project Pages, on that link, of blocks that are scattered & keep shifting from place to place every day. I would hope we'd be able to go from page to page and see each individual quilters blocks shown together. I don't know if others would like to see that layout.

Wow! No double Wow! The color is outstanding and using it with the black is just the icing on the cake! I think I will make a quilt using black as the background, at some point in time. I recently downloaded my six blocks, so far, together in one picture & you really get a feel for how they will all work together. I've asked Craftsy if they can group our own work in the Project Pages, so we can see how all the quilters blocks are together & so you don't have to keep chasing around the pages. Blocks are never in the same place, day to day. I love yours.

actually, from the video page they have a link that you can go to to see only the craftsy projects, I will go now to see how I got to that and I will post directions. Thank you to all of you who have liked my blocks.
