What are you most proud of? I wanted a pop of jewel tone color for the sashing and found this batik that I love. I think it works very well with the busy blocks. For the backing, I have selected a deep rich royal plum color, very exciting. Still pondering over the binding, but plenty of time till I get there. Goal this week is to seam the backing, get it all pinned in place and start the quilting. I will not be doing a lot of quilting on this piece, I will be stitching in the ditch and probably call it a day at that point. I don't want to detract from the beautiful fabrics and I think a lot of quilting on the top would just be gilding the lily.
