What a wonderful idea to make sister quilts. I also have a sister, but she doesn't sew. Maybe I will work on two for us next year! Thanks for the idea. I love your colors. Batiks?

All year, I've been working on these "Sister Quilts." If you notice, from one quilt to the other (or my monthly blocks), the blocks are made of the same fabrics...just positioned differently. One quilt is for me, and the other is for my sister. We are made up of all the same stuff (she just 2 years older than me), but we are very different. I hope she appreciates the symbolism.
