Material from my stash except for the border on the back which was purchased for this quilt.
What was your inspiration?
The free BOM course on Craftsy that I found through a gift subscription to Love of Quilting. I'm enjoying both very much.
What are you most proud of?
The things I have learned. This project stretched my skills on a few levels. It is good for the grey cells. It was my first attempt at free-motion quilting - not as easy as it looks but more forgiving than I thought it would be.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The sewing level is beginner and the teacher was thorough. (I didn't have to watch every detail because I have been sewing for a long time.) So go for it! I loved digging into my stash and was surprised how it comes together in the end even though I was sure it would be too chaotic.
